Stillwater Kennel Supply Informative - Good product, very poor communication/suport
Last year I needed a heavy duty harness for my seventy pound Labrador Retriever dog. I did some checking and found the Stillwater Kennel Supply website. I saw a harness described to fit dogs up-to 80 pounds, and on the strength of that information, ordered a harness on-line via Paypal. After a wait of a week or more I had to send a message to see if they received my order and ask when I could expect shipping. The reply was slow coming. In-time I received the harness and it was very nice. I put it on my dog right away and was disappointed that it didn't fit. I put it back in the box and e-mailed back and waited again. This began a convoluted exchange of curt, cryptic and cross-purposes messages from Shane.
I could write a book on this very unpleasant experience, but suffice to say, I am exceedingly disappointed with the poor communication from Stillwater, and I am out $60+ dollars after returning a harness and then receiving a very late in coming claim that it was never received only after more inquires from me. The loss of money is bad-enough, but the torcherous communication process and long waits convinces me that Shane really does not care much about customer service.
