Verizon Wireless Complaint - Poor Service - Receiving or Sending Calls From Home
I have been a Verizon wireless customer for six years. As of March 2, 2011 my cell phone suddenly would not send or receive calls from my home. My wife's phone (Verizon) worked fine. I replaced the cell phone THREE times and the problem continued. I visited the Verizon store six or seven times and spoke to technicians on the phone five times and received a variety of advice and procedures. The answer came back that I am in a poor service area, despite the fact that my wife's phone works fine. I am a senior citizen and out of my wife's concern I purchased a land line at the cost of $20.00 a month (Comcast). I have not received a word that anything further is being done to correct this problem.
No service technician has darkened my door, and little effort has been made to contact me. I have several months on my Verizon contract and do not want to be charged for breaking my contract.
