JetBlue Complaint - Lack of empathy to the public
On Thursday March 10th, 2011 Flight 157 out of JFK to Orlando was several times delayed...The staff was not very informative about what was going on. the Delay I do understand was weather related but the lack of information was unacceptable. The person behind the counter kept telling us that the crew(the plane and pilots were there) was on their way this lasted for hours..Nothing was provided for the people that were stuck there elderly, families with infants and toddlers, people with other connections were left in limbo..flight was scheduled to leave 7:50pm. They did not inform us till 3am that they were then cancelling this flight and we were told to scramble to get on another flight at a later time, had to go get our own luggage and go through the process all over again. there is nothing open at the airport at that Hour.
I find this unacceptable and horrible on the part of the airline itself..and they have the nerve to not want to compensate this inconvenience..truly this is no way to run a business and I do intend to pursue this further as the manner that this was handled was unacceptable and somewhat inhuman...dogs are treated better.
