Maytag Corporation Complaint - Terrible Appliances
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- My husband purchased the Bravos Washer and Dryer for me as a Christmas gift in December, 2010. I picked them out and did so because of Maytag's integrity. Well that is long gone. It takes forever to do the laundry because the washer has a stupid sensor on it, it doesn't allow you to select the temperature you want to use because the temperatures are pre-set to the cycles, there is no alarm to warn you that the drum is off balance and god only knows if your clothes are clean because the water just swishes over them. Awful. Absolutely awful. The dryer also does not completely dry the clothes even on a heavy duty cycle. My Kenmore washer was so fast and the clothes came out of the dryer hot. They do not now. I am ready to roll both of them out to the curb for trash. I don't know who designed these machines but they should be taken off the market. They are a big disappointment and fail to do the job they were purchased to do. When I wrote to Maytag about these appliances, my letter was returned saying the address no long existed. However, it is the address printed in the product information booklet that came with the washer. Nice, right? And if you call Maytag, they just tell you they'll send a repairman to look at the machines. They are not broken. There are no children in the house and I am 6l years old and the only person who uses them. I want Maytag to tell me that I can return them for a refund. They are absolutely awful. They are HE appliances, yet we don't see any change in our utility bills. Don't waste your money on these products. I'd rather have a washer full of water than a bucket full which supposedly is cleaning my clothes.
