GREEN BAY,, WISCONSIN -- Ameriprise has shown poor adjuster willingness to fairly compensate and assess an automotive claim stemming from a hit and run while my car was parked. Initial after hr claim was fielded by a young and inexperienced person who had difficulty taking an accurate claim. Follow up with the claim representative is poor as it is apparent that they go out of their way to make the process time consumming, difficult and mainly unfair. After leaving several voice mail messages, I was finally able to get through to a generally uninterersted appraiser whose main intent was to defer and low ball the claim. Adjuster would second guess your responses to questions and on different occasions give contradictory information on reimbursement and rental allowances. They sent a second party claims representative who appraised the car without my being present and did so with labor rates that were very low and virtually impossible to find a body shop who would accept. End result is that they have you doing all the work to go about fixing the car, with minimal time for you to be in a rental and after your deductible, little to no pay out on there end.... less than acceptable standards by any metric. stay away...
