Target Complaint - Misleading the Customer
Today, I went to shop at Target and saw a big sign with a 5% discount off one's purchases. I did not notice in tiny tiny writing that it was attached to a Target credit card. I believed that it was similar to a rewards card. Right there and then I tried to cancel the card. I spoke with several employees including the store manager and it could not be done. I had to call the customer service to get it cancelled. The store makes every effort to discourage customers from canceling. Beware that their finance charge is high. I was never happy with the return system they have but never knew there were so many other people who felt the same way. Wouldn't it be nice for all the customers to stop shopping there for a day or so and then maybe they will show more understanding and appreciation towards their customers, for without our money they would not be in business.
