Kodak FunSaver Cameras - Complaint
Review by Sheri1953 on 2011-03-20
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- My husband and I recently took a vacation to New Orleans to watch our 1st Mardi Gras.
I had forgotten my digital camera at home so I went to the closest store and purchased two (2) Kodak Funsaver cameras (27 exposures each). We had a wonderful time in New Orleans and when we got home, I have 8 pictures left on one of the cameras. My oldest granddaughters' 5th birthday party was within the week, so I finished the 8 pictures I had left at her party.
Today I took both cameras to be developed and to my great disappointment, NONE of the pictures on either camera were any good. I did not get pictures of any of Mardi Gras or my granddaughters' birthday party.
I got on line to get a customer service number for Kodak and again was disappointed that not only was there no telephone number, but no email address to register my complaint.
After closer examination of the camera shells, I saw in tiny print, Made in Mexico. We need to STOP purchasing items that are not made in the USA and to boycott companies that outsource their jobs to foreign companies!
Kodak will not miss my business, but if enough people stop buying their products, maybe they will finally open their eyes and bring their jobs back to the U. S.A. and become a more user friendly company.
