Quik Trip Informative - General Knowledge About Quik Trip And The Fuel Industry

Review by oily well on 2011-03-21
All gasoline is processed the same way, additives can be added, seldom are. Usually the "brand" or how great their product is, is an advertising tool, nothing more. Years ago, my cousin worked for a refinery in tulsa.
He commented that they had processed over 200,000 gallons of fuel, of which all were lacking the right chemical mixture. When asked what happened to the fuel, it was sold to the 'cutrate outlets.' Oil companies
have a monopoly, they control the source.

I would like to be at a tank farm when a quik trip tanker is loaded, hidden of course with a camera, to see if anything is added, their advertising suggests that they have a refinery, or in control of one.

I looked at Quick Trip's business profile (Hoover's) and there is no indication the company owns or controls a refinery of it's own.
