VoiceStream Wireless Complaint - Customer NO Service
Complaint

DULUTH, GEORGIA -- Prior to POWERTEL being bought by VoiceStream, if I wanted a new phone, all I had to do was go to a POWERTEL store and buy one. Seems simple enough. But not with VoiceStream...you have to order one sight unseen over the phone. But wait...you can only do that if you sign an additional 1 year contract! VoiceStream could stand to learn a lot from the old POWERTEL crowd. No contracts, No Hassles, GREAT Customer Service...all of which are completely beyond the folks at VoiceStream. So here I am...been on hold for 20 minutes and still unable to simply buy a replacement phone. By the way...I have been a loyal POWERTEL customer since 1999 and spend at least $120.00 a month on my cellular bill. I bet Sprint PCS would like to have me as a customer. VoiceStream really could care less apparently.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I want to be able to walk into a VoiceStream Store and buy a replacement phone at the advertised price. Seems simple enough doesn't it? POWERTEL had it all figured out.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
