Looks like a great property, but owner was more interested on asking for the summer/peak season rate than honoring what the listing says. :(

Although I love VRBO and have stayed at several properties in the southeast, I'm not surprised by your comment. I've noticed she has updated or rather, reworded, her rates! The funny thing is, I was willing to meet her halfway with her Christmas rate (which she has deleted now), but she pretty much HUNG UP ON ME before I could finish discussing it. We found a mountain cabin for $84 less/night. LOL!

All VRBO listings give you a range and all have the disclaimer ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE..As an Owner..there are people out there I just refuse to rent to and that is our choice..You sound like one of them..Owners set and change rates until confirmed with an agreement and deposit..sounds like you need an education Downinga
