T-Mobile Complaint - T-Mobile Lies
I had a two year contract with two phone lines with T-Mobile. I moved from one town to another and the new town I moved to had horrible serivce. Calls were constantly dropped and texts never went through. I called customer service to try to fix the problem several times and was even dropped while talking to them.
Finally the CSRs and Tech support told me that I could cancel my account and the fee would be waived if I sent them a copy of my driver's license with my new address. I had one of the lines taken over by someone who lived in the town where the service was still ok and T-Mobile cancelled my main line. After the line was canelled and I sent in the copy of my driver's license they started harassing me for the cancellation fee. Then when I wouldn't pay it they sent it to collections. All the while failing to ever send me accurate billing statements. They kept saying the charges were for airtime services, not cancellation fees, but would never provide me a bill showing that. I filed a complaint with the FCC and finally got a call from T-Mobile.
I ended up talking to Elizabeth Towers, supposed Executive Customer Relations. She claims to be the final word at T-Mobile. She had a 19 minute conversation with me which she later told the FCC I was harassing and verbally abusing her. I guess T-Mobile considers the truth harassing and abusing. I think she has tampered with my account and erased the comments by the CSRs stating that they would waive the cancellation fee. I believe she is as dishonest as the company she works for. I have since filed additional complaints with the Attorney Generals Office and FTC.
The low levels this company will stoop to amazes me.
