Best Buy Complaint - 2 Bad Lap Tops
HOMESTEAD, PENNSYLVANIA -- I decided to buy a lap top from Best Buy, it lasted less than 2 years before it needed to be replaced. During this time it was returned to the Geek squad twice to be repaired, on the second return, I was told it could not be fixed. Luckily, I had purchased the extra warranty, so I received a replacement. The replacement lasted for 2.5 years before it could not be repaired. During this 2.5 year period, the lap top spent at least 2 months being repaired. On one occasion, my computer was gone for 6 weeks straight. When I called to inquire about the status, the Geek Squad member was extremely unprofessional and blatantly lied to me. He told me he tracked my computer on the UPS site and it was due tone delivered back tenet day. When I went the next day to pick it up, I was told that it eS still at the repair site and hadn't been looked at yet. I did not receive it back for two more weeks. It worked fine for one month and had Togo back again. Now, 4 months later it is back again and can't be fixed.
My extended warranty gets me another computer that will probably have the same issues or store credit for the value of the lap top, which I can use to buy some other items that don't work right.
