Gevalia Coffee Informative - Canceling Was Actually Easy
A special promotion initially brought me to Gevalia in January of 2009, and I signed up to receive a few boxes of coffee every month. Once the coffee arrived, I decided it wasn't worth the price, and researched how to cancel my subscription. I read horror stories of not being able to get an actual person on the phone, etc., so I opted to push my subscription forward 6 months (which you can do on their website).
I forgot all about Gevalia until six months later when I received my next shipment. I went through the entire process again, only to forget to call (procrastination at its best, I know). This happened again once more, until I received a SECOND, unscheduled shipment just a few weeks after the first. I have to admit I got a little angry after that, immediately called customer service and demanded that my money be refunded and my account be canceled.
I have to say that the customer service representative was extremely nice, easy to understand, and willing to help. They refunded my money the same day and my account is supposedly canceled. Needless to say, I am surprised at how easy it was. If they ever try to ship me something again, I'll come back and edit my review, but as of now, I'm pretty content!!
