On 28Mar2011 I received a call from TXU concerning a late bill in the amount of 13.95. This message said they were going to turn this into a collection agency. I pressed the number to talk with someone concerning paying this bill and waited. When someone finally answered, neither the male or female could speak clear English and I was told that they couldn't help me due to the fact my name wasn't on the account. I have all the information on my spouse, but they didn't wish to take the money. I asked for a supervisor and they wouldn't help me so I asked to speak to someone in the CEO office. Finally someone that spoke English and was willing to take my payment.

Unfortunately that is how they generally work. If you are not listed n the account, they will not discuss the account with you. Glad you found someone to take your payment. Have your husband call and put your name on the account as well.

I don't think it's unfortunate at all that they don't speak with anyone but the account owner. Imagine if they talked to anyone who had all the information on the account? Information that's probably not that hard to get.

I just spent 20 minutes on the phone 8/27/12 9pm trying to cancel my service on 9/17/12. I don't know who you have working for you but they don't understand English. I told the guy my new mailing address 6 times. I said the zipcode 5 times. I spelled Round Rock 3 times. I repeated the actt # 4 times to your automated service and 2-3 times to the non-english person. I guess he was at a party and couldn't hear...because I could only hear laughing in the background. He kept saying" just a minute", so I'd wait a couple of minutes then he would ask me to repeat everything again....good God , hire someone who can do this job...like an American!
