Claim Jumpers Complaint - Sick from Claim Jumper Chicken Alfredo Frozen Dinner - Chicken Alfredo Frozen Dinner

Complaint
Review by sunny 13 on 2011-03-29
LOS ANGELOS, CALIFORNIA -- This review is written here because there was No Customer Service Phone Number to make contact with on the product carton of this Frozen Dinner.

On March 27th I went to Stater Brothers Market in Rancho Cucamonga, Store # 53,after receiving a weekly mailer on product sales.

The add specified 5 Claim Jumper Frozen Dinners for $10.00. This sounded good to me so I bought 5 and returned home to make dinner.
I cooked the Chicken Alfredo Dinner for myself according to directions. It tasted a really rich to me, I didn't finish all of it... but, it was my first time to try this product. I normally buy their Frozen Dutch Apple Pies, and I thought I would try a new product from their line.

That night I went to bed and it all started =\....I was up and down 6-7 times with strong constipation, cramps and no releif. I felt ill and tried to sleep it off. Finally at 10:30 A.M. the following morning I went to the bathroom and had a very bad case of Diareha lasting nearly 30 minutes.

I work as a caregiver and my shift starts @ 11 a. m.! I was week and neasuated from the whole night. As a care taker I have 7/24 responcibilities with little time for breaks.

This day was Very Difficult for me as my client has Alzheimers and I am in charge of all meals, hygene and multiple tasks. I FELT GREEN as I tried to continue through my day. No appetite, Cramps and a "grimice"on my face to the preperation of meals for my client. I couldn't eat anything!

At 4:40 the day of the 28th I returned to the store and spoke to the manager expressing how "Ill" I was STILL feeling. She sent me to the checker who was very nice and returned my monies and gave me the information from the package to contact
the company. We BOTH wondered WHY? there was No Hotline or Contact phone number but she assured me that I should proceed further to explain what had happened in the case of their being Others with similar reactions to this product.

I was disappointed when I tried 3 times to put in the web address with the computer telling me, that site was not there. Instead I went to the net under the name I was given for the company and came up w/ a place to write a complaint.

I would have much rather spoken to someone over what had happened. I was wondering if possibly through shipping and delivery the dinner had become unfrozen and the Cream in the meal compramised.

This is a Weary Way to make contact and the loss of my day and evening left me feeling bad throughout the night again. I could not eat the entire day or night and felt worse for the lack of strength.

I normally like Alfredo dishes and am not Lactose intolarant. This was a Big Dissapointment and soiled my thoughts of returning to try other frozen dinners from this company.

As I stated earlier my past experience had been w/ their Frozen Dutch Apple Pies which I truly enjoyed. I would like for someone from the company to check into this for me. I kept the Proof of Purchase box top, and all other documentation from the store. The box say's Best Used By : APR202012,5450030100 P18297 17 14:14. This should be enough information to check and see if there was a product contents problem.

As a working individual, one of my responcibilities is buying the groceries for an elderly individual who can no longer hold conversation.
I would have had NO IDEA of what was wrong had she been the one who had consumed your product. Please address this concern and get back to me.

Very Dissapointed and Still NOT Feeling back to Normal,
5:40 P.M. March 29th.
