Publishers Clearing House Complaint - Payment problem - solving my issue
PORT WASHINGTON, NY -- I have made purchases from PCH and paid on time in the past with no problem. This time I purchased 2 items at different times and decided to send in the payment for both items on 1 check and in 1 envelope, both payments being on time. BIG mistake. I could see that the check was cashed on my bank statement and now 1 month later I am receiving notices that I have a past due balance.
Have you tried to contact PCH on line, lots of luck. There are so many links and when you try to set up a profile and password there is always an error message.
Received an e mail notice and was given a fax number to show proof of payment with copy of front and back of my cancelled check. Well, PCH uses electronic banking so all I could to was fax a copy of my statement, all number crossed out, of course. No luck. Called them on the phone and was told that there was no information on the fax that I sent or the payment, but they would put a note in the computer to look for my fax. I have now mailed them all the information.
In my fax to PCH I asked that they reply with an e mail, but have not received any type of confirmation of my fax.
I can tell you, this will be the last time I make a purchase from them.
Does any of this sound familiar? Has anyone had problems like this? It seems as if they don't care by the lack of attention that is given to your problem. Will keep you posted on how long it takes them to straighten this out.
