Charter Communications Complaint - Charter Communications Incompetent
It takes quite a bit to move me from general corporate apathy to corporate hate, but I have become a Charter Communication's hater.
I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. After several weeks and spending untolled hours on phone support, having numerous technicans visiting, and numerous "it's all fixed now" my internet still doesn't work.
I fired them today. They said I have a contract and I have a penality to pay. Well, I hope to waste as much of their time trying to get my money as they have wasted mine trying to get internet.
Like for instance, after 3 weeks they tell me the modem needs replacing. They say just exchange it to this address in Georgia. Well, I go to the address and its a seedy check cashing store. I call Charter from the parking lot to confirm the address. Yes, this is the place. I go inside of the Check Cashing place and the guy tells me, "I wish Charter would stop sending people here. We have nothing to do with Charter."
Really. I am not making this up.
I really hope they spend some money on social listening research, because they really need to understand how badly they suck.
I'm thinking of taking them to court and charging them for all the lost productivity (I work from home) and time I wasted chasing a solution. I don't care if I win. I just want them to waste some of their time dealing with the lawsuit.
How sad is that?
