Best Buy Black Tie Protection Plan Complaint - Deceiving Scam
The customer service reps will tell you that there black tie protection plan is the best, just read the reviews and you will see how horrible and deceiving the plan is. It's a joke! In most cases carriers like Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T have local service centers where you can get most problems with phone taken care of within minutes or at least by that same day. Their plan takes 4 weeks to get it back to you, they ship your phone out to who knows where, and then have the nerve to offer you some generic phone with basic text and talk capability only (this after you have been paying $10/month). They don't mention this when purchasing phone. Then trying to track and figure out what is going on with phone is a whole other problem, believe me it is the worst plan and very deceiving. My son has been without his droid phone for 4 weeks now and all we know is that it is being worked on.
Having to wait 4-6 weeks for phone and replacing with lower end generic replacement is a joke! Do not buy! I can't believe Best Buy services such a plan. Very disappointed and will go elsewhere for future electronic purchases.
