Hardee's Kernersville N.C. Complaint - Raw Chicken

Review by blacklamp on 2011-04-05
230 CHERRY SY, NORTH CAROLINA -- On Monday April 10 Hardee's in Kernersville N. C. I received raw chicken in the Drive thru. On my way home my 3 year old was already eating them in the car. Call cooperate they was not even thinking about doing anything about it.

So I'm stuck with a bill from the hospital for my son, they said they are not responsible said Tom the general manager (unconcerned) never eat their unless you really check your food and make sure someone is washing their hands.

I agree, there's too much missing here. What did you take your son to the hospital for? Just because someone eats chicken that is not fully cooked does not automatically equal a hospital visit. Did your son get sick?

Anything is possible, but I wouldn't think there would be raw chicken in a fast food restaurant at all. Isn't it already pre cooked when it arrives?

For the fear of eating raw chicken?
I beg to differ. The reason I don't like them to is due to the mess they make.

Hardee's is doing an advertsising blitz on their hand-dipped in buttermilk freshly prepared chicken tenders. I assume that means the chicken is cooked on site and not pre-cooked.

Darn I was gonna give those a try too.

Roth, care to wager that they are precooked?

Lsal, you were served raw wings once? Too bad you weren't on M3C when ZZ was here

There's nothing worse than raw chicken.

Lsalvador, Here's hardee's anouncement.

You still maintain they're pre-cooked?

I stand corrected.

There are plenty of things worse than raw chicken.

Wow, so I guess they aren't pre-cooked. I don't think I'd trust a fast food joint to properly handle raw chicken.
