Priceline Complaint - Priceline is a rip off
Do not use Priceline for anything.
I had a problem with a Marriot in Kingston Ontario, The room was disgusting, they upgraded me.....also terrible. After some feedback from some established bloggers it was suggested that I add the details of what had happened so here goes:
Well, firstly I found the previous occupants hockey equipment and dirty boxers under the bed.....after they upgraded me to a two bedroom suite I found dirty wine glasses in the cupboard and mold in the basket of the coffee maker. Had it not been midnight I would have checked out immediately.
I was so shocked. It is so out of character for the Marriott. I have stayed with them for years and always been impressed with their service and superior accomodations. Not this time.
When I left the hotel I contacted Priceline regarding the hotel and the horrible service and etc. Priceline refused to give me my money back. I have calle them several times. They keep telling me it is the hotel that will not refund my money but after Talking to the Mariott it is indeed Priceline that refuses to stand by their "great service".
If I can save one person from wasting their money then my disaster weekend will not have been in vain.
Pay the extra money it is worth it.
