Jones New York Complaint - Return/Exchange

I purchased an item from Jones New York on line, the shirt was on sale and the promotion was free shipping. The shirt was to large and I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. I contacted the customer service dept of Jones New York and was given instructions on sending the shirt back. I asked if I exchanged the shirt would I get it at the same price I originally purchased it for, and would it again be free shipping. I was advised no, on both questions. While I will now return the shirt instead of exchanging it, I am very disappointed that JNY will not honor the terms of my original purchase.

I buy a lot of JNY clothes from stores, however, I doubt that I will order on line from them again.

They did honor the original purchase. They sent you the shirt at the current price, with free shipping thrown in.

You changed the terms when you wanted a different shirt. By now, the sale was over, and the free shipping was too.

You wanted two new transactions: A return, and a new purchase. The new purchase was up to the new prices and special deals.
