Rooms To Go Complaint - Poor furniture quality and warranty
Ok so we bought a living room suite. 1 week after having it, the sectional frame broke. I called them to repair it. They sent a guy out here to repair it. He flipped it over on its top and ripped the bottom cover off, used a drill to drill screws in the frame and stapled the cover back to it. That was fine..I guess, seemed like a "rig" to me. However, it still does not sit right. The sectional keeps separating due to having an uneven frame. He did tell me that these sectionals break often due to the way they are made. I tried leaving a review on their website, but they do not have a spot for it (imagine that). Now today, not even having the furniture one year, the zipper is breaking on the seat cushions, only from sitting on it, and the chair is no longer as stable as it once was (it once swiveled, now it will not). I also think the legs are broke.
My complaint is that I do not have a few thousand to waste on furniture and if their guarantee is them sending a random "DIY" individual to staple your furniture back together, its just not worth it. I would like it if they refunded a portion of my money back because this stuff may be worth a few hundred retail, but not a few thousand. One would probably be better off finding one at a yard sale. I usually do not write reviews, so in order for me to resort to this, my experience has to be very bad. I urge people do not waste your money at this store.:(
