Ashley Furniture San Antonio TX Complaint - Poor Service
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- Furniture purchased 3/12. Salesman assured us furniture would be delivered on 4/2. OOffice girl told us delivery was 4/2, but put it in computer for 4/5 -- date we had said couldn't be done. They rescheduled for 4/9 - then stated one piece was missing. Since we had already sold our other furniture, we asked for partial delivery, which they refused. They then claimed that one piece was damaged. (We were told by a salesman for another company that the pieces were probably sold to someone else...) Delivery was rescheduled again for 4/16 with a delivery time of 2-5 P.M. Deliveryman finally showed up at 6 P.M. and gave us a huge hassle about actually giving us the pieces. We were without living room furniture for over two weeks and missed a theater date on 4/16 because the delivery was so late we couldn't make it to the theater on time.
Do not buy from this company -- it is clear that, once they get your money, their attitude is that they could care less.
