Hasting's Compliment - Excellent customer service from Amazon Marketplace-Full refund & Free Product!

I just want to thank Amazon Marketplace seller "Hastings Entertainment" for providing excellent customer service after an error was made with regard to a product I ordered! I ordered a 25th Anniversary Care Bears DVD set, from Amazon through a marketplace seller, for my 3 year old daughter and was disappointed when I received the 25th Anniversay of the 1st Care Bears episode instead of the DVD set I originally ordered. I contacted Hasting Entertainment and asked if I could return the incorrect product for a full refund. I was surprised to receive a response within the hour, apologizing for the error and promising a full refund. I was also told to keep the product I received at no cost!! So thank you Hastings Music! My daughter loves the episode we received and it will hold her over until we receive the DVD set! Great customer service from a great company. I wish we had Hastings in California, I would definitely shop there!

As much as they may wanted you to be satisfied, Amazon, along with Ebay, have very strict policies regarding returns. Im not sure how much you paid for the dvd, but the cost of shipping it back and shipping tou out a new DVD would have cost them more money than just letting you keep the DVD and refund you. Negatives from buyers is not a good thing for sellers on amazon and ebay.
