Lufthansa Complaint - Worst customer service ever
Written by Erol Gunes. My mother-in law (Nedafet Haciomeroglu) had a ticket from IST to Washington, DC with a transfer flight through Munich. After passing two airport securities, at the gate of the airplane in Munich, she got declined to board with a subjective and discriminative excuse of her passport's several pages being lose, even though she has flown to USA with the same passport several times without a problem. She doesn't speak English or German and she was forced to fly back to Turkey, where she confirmed with authorities that the passport was actually fine. We called Lufthansa customer service and the manager (she said her name was Lia [LG]) was very snobby and rude and refused to provide us a refund. Now we need to pay the cancellation fee for the rest of the flight and get a new overpriced ticket on short notice. Lufthansa - Worst customer service ever!
