Comcast Corporation Complaint - Late fee charged after they cash my check
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I mailed my bill with full payment 3/31/11 due 4/5/11. Today I get a bill for last month and this month charges, my account not being credited for my payment. There was also an 8.00 late fee assessed on 4/8/11. When I look at my cancelled check from my bank, this is the same day they cashed it. How can they assess a late fee on a date obviously after they received my check? Customer service now admits they were paid by me but refuses to waive the late fee because the payment was late. I have proof it was not. I see in Oregon there is a class action settlement for millions of dollars against Comcast assessing bogus late fees, I am hoping this will happen in Colorado. Please contact me as I have saved my proof to assist in a class action suit.
