Sears Complaint - No Hablo Ingles
I recently purchased a Whirlpool Washer and Dryer from my local Sears outlet in Leominster, MA. I was told that the units could be delivered in 10 days. On the morning of April 20th, I was called by Pablo, the delivery team leader, that my washer and dryer would be delivered and installed in 30 minutes(they were only 10 miles away). He told me he was from New Jersey and that he had GPS. I told him the GPS probably wouldn't recognize the construction project that blocked use of my nearest highway exit so I clearly and slowly informed him in English which exit he should take to avoid the construction. One hour later Pablo called me back to inform me the delivery could not be made but I could reschedule. I rejected his excuse and got on the highway to find that the exit I told him to take was clear and the exit I told him to avoid was blocked. I called Sears Delivery Service division and after ranting for 10 minutes was told by the person to whom I spoke that the washer and dryer would be delivered and installed at the end of the day. I waited form 10:30- 8:30 for the delivery. I missed a days work(no Pay) only to receive no delivery.
The following morning I called the Sears Delivery Service only to reach another person who spoke English as a third/fourth(?) language who finally surrendered me to his supervisor. After repeating my hardluck story for a third time, she graciously told me the units could be delivered in 10 more days(so much for customer satisfaction). I immediately cancelled my order and vowed nevr to patronize Sears again and discourage my colleagues in the educational field not to patronize them either. If you happen to see a Sears Delivery truck driven by an English-illiterate man somewhere in New England or Canada, it's probably Pablo with my washer and dryer.
Thank you Sears!!!!!!!!!!!
