Airfare.com Complaint - Airfare.com (Don't use!)

I purchased my plane tickets for a study abroad trip in February 2011. My trip is in late June, so I got a great deal on the tickets! A few weeks ago I got an email from airfare.com telling me the tickets they sent were invalid because the contract with Airtran they had was no longer valid. Needless to say I was angered, because now tickets are 400 dollars more than they were when I bought them.
They told me in an email that the money would be refunded in 2-3 days, so when I got the confirmation the tickets were received by the company after I shipped them, I waited 3 days to call back. They woman on the phone told me that it would take 4-6 weeks to get my money back on my credit card. I told her about the email, she said she would check, and then told me there was never such an email sent out. I forwarded her the email and she said she would call me back in an hour. Two days later no call.
The customer service this company has is ridiculous. They are not helpful, and very rude! I am not happy about the refund situation, nor the way they treated me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I avoid using 'bargain' third party ticketing agencies for this very reason.
