Sears Citibank Mastercard Complaint - Paid Online - Online Payment
I am not sure which one of us made the mistake but citicards debited my checking for the amount in full. I noticed the debit because I was overdrawn and the bank. I called the bank to stop payment. They charged me $35.00 fee for this service. I called citicards and she transferred me to the web designer. He could not even pull up the account. I called back and explained what had happened that I only wanted to pay minimum amount due. He told me this debit would not go thru again and when citicards got the returned check they would put my balance back on the card. He also told me to call back to pay minimum payment and they would take care of any late fees that I had been charged. Two days later at 8 am my checking was debited again. I called the bank and she could not stop payment again. I called and talked to Joyce and she told me the only way to fix this problem was for them to issue me a check to receive in 7 to 10 days. My checking at this time was -343.43. I explained to her I could not wait that long to get the $1,799.43. She told me the request was already submitted. I asked her to reverse it. She said it was too late. (this transaction was submitted while on the phone) I told her I had babies to feed and we work and need the money for transportation to and from work. At that time she told me I had used up my alloted customer service time and to have a nice day and she hung up.
I checked my account I now have a balance of 24.51 because they charged me interest on an account paid in full and the check I am supposed to be receiving will be 1749.60 and that is minus min. payment. They never sent a confirmation for payment to my email and when I previously alway sent me one.
