Sears Automotive Complaint - Did Me Wrong - Oil Change

Review by Coalition Jumpoff on 2011-04-23
FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA -- I visited the Sears Automotive Department on Leesburg Pike Virginia like I always do every three months to get an oil-change. On this particular Saturday I told the clerk I wanted the $29.99 oil-change that's discounted to $19.99. To my knowledge that was a special that has always been available. The clerk stated that the special has expired and that I needed to pay the $29.99. I believed what he told me but I decided to leave and go to another Sears about 15 minutes away because they had a 1hour and 45minute wait time. When I arrived at the other Sears Automotive in Alexandria the clerk told me that the special never expires and all I had to pay was $19.99. I couldn't believe it I was pissed.

After being a loyal customer Sears tried to take advantage of me.

I don't understand the concept of a discounted "special" that runs continuously, without expiration. I guess this only happens at Sears.

You can identify your problem with the first word of your post. Delete that word.. the situations usually get better..

It's not so special if it's always available.

take your receipt back to the 1st Sears and speak to a manager; this scofflaw needs to be held accountable.
