Gold Medal Products Co. Complaint - Don't hold your breath for a return phone call
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- I called Gold Medal looking for a flavor of cotton candy that I thought would be a great seller. The first person I talked to simply said "I don't know" and hung up. I called back and spoke to their food tech who said that he had been working on just that flavor and would send me 50 lbs of that flavored sugar along with some snow cone syrup in the same flavor. He seemed like a nice honest guy, so I sent him a couple of my own products to try. Then I never heard from him again. I waited weeks. Then I called the company's president. No return phone call. I then got rather pointed with their voice mails (since the voice mails were the only ones listening) and the president called me back and said he would have to look into it. That was weeks ago and I have not heard from him ever again either.
I'm no lawyer, but isn't there something about verbal contracts and breech of contract? It certainly is not good customer service to just ignore people!
