Hewlett-Packard Company Complaint - HP officejet problem
I bought a new HP Officejet all-in-one printer. It went through ink cartridges in one week. Customer service agreed to replace it as it was still under warranty. But they sent me a reconditioned printer. When I called and complained that you bought a new printer and expected a new printer the representative said it was "company policy" to replace new defective units with reconditioned ones. Fellow consumers, rise up and unite. We need to get a law passed correcting this situation. Why should consumers have to settle for a used printer to replace a new one purchased at full price. This is so obviously unfair to the consumer. It is not an equal exchange. How can they get away with this. They are not standing behind their original product and warranty. We need to force them to do this. Then they would not extend the original warranty to the replacement printer. They were rude and arrogant. The replacement printer did not work and that was a nightmare. I could go on and on. I wasted a full day with HP reps on the phone. How can a company like HP be so horrible to their customers and expect to stay in business. I will never buy another HP product.
