Orbitz Complaint - Orbitz is the worst!!!
My husband and I booked the hotel in Vegas for our first year anniversary with Orbitz. We wanted to stay in Bellagio in a lake view room because of the beautiful fountain. When we talked to the people from Orbitz to book the hotel, they promised a lake view Deluxe room for $149/night, and many times they mentioned we were lucky because it was the last lake view room with that price.
When we got to the hotel, we were told that the room wasn't a lakeview room and we needed to contact Orbitz so we did. The staff admit that in their record it showed we should get a lake view room but they couldn't do anything to fix the problem. We were told by them that we would have to pay extra $50/night for a lake view room. We requested to talk to their manager and it took us ~1hr to get through. The manager was horrible, not only that she didn't try to fix the problem, she even started talking about how she didn't see it's a lake view room in her record like we were lying to her. When we tried to talk to her supervisor, she refused to give out any information and even told us we could find out by ourselves online. Her name is Daphne (ID#028433) if it's true.
Horrible experience with Orbitz! Worst company ever!
