Home Depot Complaint - Very Angry!
MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- I too am having serious problems with placement of an order for blinds. Sat down with an employee at Home Depo, selected Hampton Bay wood blinds 2 1/2" louvers for my home in "Dazzle White" and pre-paid for the in home measuring.
I had to call back several days later because no one got back with us regarding the installer coming to measure. When the installer came out several days later he didn't fax the information in until a couple of days later.
This was only the beginning! Because when we went to HD to pay for the blinds the documents they gave us said Levelor "Pure White." Also, the installer neglected to measure one of the windows. After numerous phone calls and visits to Home Depot they again changed the manufacturer on the order to "Bali." Home Depot had to cancel the initial order because it was incorrect.
We personally have not made a single change to the order, paid the blinds in full and STILL they don't have our order correct. NOW they are telling us we can't get the "new cordless" blinds in the 2 1/2" louver...this after 3 wks! To date, we are still waiting for Home Depot to place our order.
We are strongly considering canceling and having our money refunded but at this rate it would take probably 2 months to get our money back!
