Wal-Mart Complaint - Inconsistent (yeah, big surprise)
ALGONQUIN, ILLINOIS -- Last week, I went to Walmart to buy a new bluetooth headset for my new phone. I found the one I wanted, but of course, I had to track down a worker so they could unlock it for me. I told the woman that I had other shopping to do in the store and she told me that it was store policy that any locked-up electronics had to be paid for in the electronics department. Ok, fine. I left the headset in that department, ran and got what I needed and came right back. No problem.
Fast forward to today. Over the weekend, Baby Clutzy chewed off the rubber speaker thing on my headset, rendering it useless. So we returned to the store today to buy a new one. Repeat procedure except I do my other shopping first. This time, however, the guy just handed me the headset, wished me a good day and that was it. I took it up to the front of the store, paid for it, and left. So much for store policy, huh?
