Lufthansa Complaint - Terrible experience with travel reservation and baggage

If you have a choice to go with any other airline rather then Lufthansa - it will save you time, money and nerves. I have booked my travel online flying Lufthansa airlines to Frankfurt, Germany from Houston, floowing another flight to Eastern Europe the same day. Without any notification ( I was just lucky to review my travel itenary online), Lufthansa has cancelled my flight from Frankfurt and changed rewservations for next day. Upon contacting customer service no accommodations were made refarding my stay in Germany, but that's just the beginning of Lufthansa's surprises. Since the airlines changed my flight, the baggage policy for my reservation was changed as well. Now, instead of having two free bags 50 pds each (first flight was through Continental), I am limited to 44 pds and 1 bag. The bags now have to be picked up at the airport, dragged to the hotel that I had to pay in addition for, brought back to the airport the next day and .... Now each additional pound over 44 pds will be costing 7 USD... If I take 50 additional pounds - do the math. How riidiculous!!! I am a frequent traveler and I am a young professional expecting to make many more trips in the future. Lufthansa will never have my business again. If you do not want this happen to you - I suggest block any Lufthansa ideas from your future travels. Hope not to ever see this happen to another American!!!
