Miracle whip - Complaint
NORTHFIELD,, ILLINOIS -- We have three MW, (miracle whip) salad dressing unopened bottles. The date stamp on all three is 09JUN2011C 08:12, (2) 09JUN2011C 08:13. When opened the product erupts from the bottle in a slow volcanic flow. There is a strong Non-normal smell when held to the nose for a sniff test. The overall text of the erupted product is frothy/ noncreamy. When opened a crack the product oozez from the opened foil seal. When opened 100% the whole product rises about three inches above the top of the bottle.

Sounds like they may have been stored long term in higher than suggested temperatures---did you buy them at a discount place like Big Lots?

call the number on the jars and report it. it is an easy fix, and you will more than likely receive free products!

Ew just the words erupting mayonnaise makes me cringe. Yeah gotta wonder how they were stored. Could have been sitting in a crate frozen at some point then stored in a hot area. I'd assume that would cause something to go wrong.
