Rotel Processor - Complaint
Review by Emersiveav on 2011-05-02
ROWLEY, MASSACHUSETTS -- As I have just read soem other complaints I to an in the same findign with these guys.
I had a bid in but then saw they had another listing for a newer processor so I decided to cancel my bid then try to enter a bid on the newer Rotel processer they had, Hell eBay lets the user cancel the bid it wasn't like I did something against the rules. Any way I then find out that I am blocked and can't bid nor can I go back and re enter my bid on the previous item.
I then try to contact the seller to see if I can work out a purchase or explain what I want to put a bid on but I cam blocked and can't even sent them an email. Then I get a real nasty email from then saying WOW your the second one in a year thats decided to cancel a bid and to basically piss off.
I returned and emial to them telling them it wasn't that I didn't want to buy from them just that I changed my mind on what I wanted to buy. Then they sendn me back another email saying well I should know that I would have had my bid cancled any way becauise I'm not a valid buyer. Ive been an eBay buyer and seller for years and I have never had any problems with any one but these guys are a bit off. I don't even know that they are selling ligitimate items. As an AV dealer there are rules manufactures what us to follow and a company like ROTEL problably doesent allow eBay sales of their gear new or honor any warrenties. So I would suggest not buyinmg from them as it seems a bit odd that they are so rude to customers. When a custoemr is comming to me for a big ticket item its important to me that they are taken care of and are 100% comfortable with their purchases and I want them to know we are here before and after the sale to serve them in any way we can. These guys give you a real unsetteling feeling and make you feel you are doing somethignwrong when in fact they are problably up to no good. I would stay clear of them if you don't want to be out your money and warranty on what you expect to come with a valid manufactures warranty!
