Priceline Complaint - Error on their end....and they refuse to fix it!!
I used Priceline for the first time today to book a hotel reservation. I knew exactly what I did and did not want at this hotel because the old part of the hotel is undesirable. I reviewed my reservation before I finalized it as it was non refundable. Everything checked out ok. I printed the confirmation and was highlighing important information. That is when I noticed that I DID NOT get the part of the hotel I originally booked it for. I immediately called them and was told there was nothing they could do other than charge ME for the ENTIRE weeks stay and then rebook and be charged AGAIN!!! I spoke with a supervisor and she was even worse.
I then called the hotel directly and at this point they can't help me so I am stuck with a room I do NOT WANT! I will keep trying with the hotel as I have another month before I go there. Hopefully they will be kind enough to help me out. I am waiting on someone from the hotel to call.
I have booked many reservations in the past through other sites and was a reservation specialist at a major hotel for many years so I know how things work. I would rather not ever go on vacation again rather than use them!!
