Discover Card Complaint - Discover protects even the most unscrupulous vendors at cardholders' expense

DEERFIELD, IL -- Just wrote my third letter to Discover re: a vendor dispute... this time to cancel my account via CEO David Nelms. There were no gray lines in this case... this was a very simple and straight-forward case of vendor malfeasance. Yet, it was as if no one at Discover's Cust Svc organization even read, no less considered, my explanations in the two prior letters. I had carefully articulated the facts, to no avail. Each response fully disregarded the points I raised. Discover Card, it seems, will protect their revenue-generating merchants even under the most incriminating circumstances. Cardholders seem to be routinely informed that contested charges have been "researched" and that they have found the charges to be valid. Pay up you lowly cardholder! You are a mirage! Stay away from Discover.
