British Airways Complaint - Theft of my money
On April 19th 2011 I received a pending charge from British Airways Points program for $685, I immediately contacted my bank because I have no association with this company. My bank (Chase) after 3 days sent me a letter that the charges never posted to my account and they were dropping the investigation. After 16 days British Airways points program took the $685 out of my account. When calling them to resolve the bogus charge they refused to give me their accounting department to find out who stole the funds from my account or where they got my account information to even charge me. The customer service department hung up on me, of course I filed another complaint with my bank, but again was told it will take several days to resolve this issue. I work as an accountant and if I am called about a charge I can tell you when, where, and who made this charge. You would think they would want to resolve because they obviously have a theif who has an account with them and is purchasing things through them that will not be paid for. What a scam organization, I will never do business with this company and will search out any company they have association with and refuse to do business with them.
