Southwest Airlines Informative - A possible error - Frequent Flyer
I have flown SWA since 1973 when it was a three ship airline. Since that date I have not recorded the number of flights made but it must be in the hundreds. Sixteen years ago I graduated to senior citizen status and retired as a corporate pilot (Du Pont and Union of Operating engineers )
After my flying days I was employed in the automotive business retiring just before my eighty second birthday. All the while flying SWA except when I flew Frontier on Denver trips. Every 16 flights I received my frequent flier award and very welcome drink coupons. Aint so anymore. As a fixed pension and social security recipient how am I ever to get a frequent flier treat again let alone the free beverage books. Yes, I have a SWA Chase credit card but I am past the days of frequent wining and dining, exotic visits to golf resorts and a shining Lexus. I surf the web for SWAs cheapest fares. I swear I will have to fly as many trips as I flew over the years to get my free trip and free booze. Of course I will still fly the luv line how could I change after so many pleasant trouble free trips and laughs .
