Charter Cable Complaint - Stay Away!!
Ok I will start here...I first went with Charter because I am new to the area and didn't want the 2yr contract with a dish provider. I called and asked for the lowest priced cable package and Internet..they quoted me this price that sounded reasonable so I set up an install date for both. the day comes and they don't show..So I gave them a chance and called. they told me I didn't know what I was talking about and told me a totally different day + they lady informed me that its 49.99 per "piece" of installation, and the Internet I chose won't let me do anything but check my email. (none of this was said during my initial call to set up charter) so Now I was looking at an extra $100 plus Internet which was mostly useless. long story short I cancelled the Internet and when my first months bill came the "price" I was given was only good for 6mo. and then I would be charged full price. well I am now 6mo. into my cable and I decide its time to cancel Charter and go with dish because I would be saving myself over $400 by doing so..i call to cancel and they bash Dish Network which is predictable... I love Dish network now that I have it. all of a sudden one of my TVs cable stopped working. A dish tech comes out problem was... CHARTER DISCONNECTED IT AND TRIED TO HOOK MY TV BACK UP TO THEIRS!! How childish!! GET A GRIP CHARTER!!
They are nothing but a headache! Dish network is the way to go! I have had Direct TV in the past and they are as bad as CHARTER.
