Travelocity Complaint - Lies and deceptions
We purchased business class tickets from Los Angeles to Copenhagen on-line at Travelocity. At that time, the site said that our seats would be assigned later. When I contacted Travelocity two weeks later to get our seats, I was told I'd have to contact the airline. I called United and found out that the portion of our trip from Los Angeles to Toronto was economy class, not business. I called Travelocity several times and was told: that plane has no business class seats; Y economy is the same as sZ business class, just in economy seats; I was told at the time of purchase that part of the trip would be economy (absolutely false); the technical department "checked" and saw that I knew I was buying half economy/half business (false). They have said they need a week to check on this. Every time I call I get lied to and no one has called me back or contacted me.
I will never use Travelocity again. If you use Travelocity, do not EVER let them say seats will be assigned, as that may be code word for unavailable.
