The Betty Mills Company Complaint - Suspicious Practices, Terrible Customer Service
SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA -- This company has suspicious business practices. On 5/7/11 I placed an order online, it went through. 2 full days (48 hours) later a sales person called and said I had to re-order on 5/10/11 (guess he saw that the dollar amount was meaty and he wanted the commission). Needless to say, product that I should have received by the end of this week is not expected until the middle/late the FOLLOWING week. I ordered from a CA company to ensure faster delivery and they shipped my order from TWO separate locations, all the way across the country. This scam to get the commission cost me several days of production downtime and is seriously jeopardizing my project ship date. They also forced me to call 3 days running just to get tracking numbers, and they seemed "put out" by my inquiries! If you have a lot of time, want to pay sales tax (for nothing) and want the hassle of having to call several times to get your tracking numbers, shop away! I certainly will not do business with them again!
