Bob's Discount Furniture Complaint - Horrible Experience - From Beginning To End!!!!
SOUTH ATTLEBORO, MASSACHUSETTS -- We normally buy from Cardis..but, they didn't have a particular piece that we were looking for. So, we decided to try Bobs. We found what we were looking for, so we decided to settle on the "low" quality piece. While we were there, we ended up picking up a few other things as well. This AWFUL expericence begain in January, 2011. Today, May 15th, it's STILL not over. Between the Cancelled deliveries, because they gave our furniture to other people..the DAMAGED deliveries...the deliveries with only part of our order..AND showing up UNANNOUNCED with ONE SMALL PEICE of our order..it's been a NIGHTMARE. We have called them a numerous amount of times - all they said was "I'm sorry".."I understand your frustration"..They did NOT care and would only say what they were TRAINED to say. Nevertheless, our final piece arrived yesterday..it was a desk. They hutch that belonged on the desk was in a box for the past 2 months on our floor. They opened that..and what do you know..ANOTHER damaged piece. FINALLY - I told them I did not want to hear it any more from them. My husband and I are going to the Attleboro store and picking it up on the 24th ourselves. I am NOT confident that it will be in once piece. I've lost ALL faith in BOB'S. (Not that I have much to begin with) The commercials are CRAP!!!! Do not believe ANYTHING that "Bob" says - he's a LIAR!!! It's worth paying the extra few dollars at Cardis for the EXCELLENT Customer Service - the QUALITY of the furniture, and the quick and worry-free delivery. BOB'S, you have made the last 5 months for us very stressful - I hope EVERYONE sees this review and NEVER shops at your store EVER!!!!
