Charter - Umatter2charter is a joke Informative - No Help - Same Platitudes
I saw numerous responses to Charter issues by Umatter2Charter so I decided to go to their website and try the "live help". After 10+ months of trying to get help I decided at this point, it is worth a try as I've tried everything else. Well, I wasted a lot of time in IM with 2 different people to finally find that the only thing they can do for me is send an email to dispatch.
Don't waste your time with them unless it is a simple matter of disconnecting your router, resetting your modem, restarting your computer, or requesting that a tech come out to check YOUR equipment and bill YOU if they find that YOU are the problem. If the problem is on the node or the trunk line, and affecting all 3, (phone, TV, Internet) these people are helpless. They are totally separated into different departments. There is NO communication between them.
There is no "Repair" or "Troubleshooting" department which can handle major problems which affect more than one of their services and/or more than one of their customers.
