My son is incarcerated in Va. global tec is the only company to provide service. I have been trying since 4/22/11 to obtain service (for a cell phone line). They are holding $75(which I sent, when I thought the service was to be connected). They have provided service on my land line (no deposit). I have been talked down to, hung up on, and told by supervisors as well as representatives that my service will be connected, only to be told that was an error (when I call back the following day, with no service). The poeple there are unproffesional and rude, knowing they have a monopoly on this service.
I was told to fax personal information, did so 3 times, and then was told because my name is on the phone bill,(the only utilty bill in my name)and my husbands is on the other (utility bill), the service could not be connected, when several representatives and a supervisor had told be it would be. So you see, it is back and forth.
