Southwest Airlines Complaint - Change in policy without notification
At the time I realized I couldn't fly when I was supposed to I called Southwest and they told me I had 1 year to use them and that we could also transfer the funds for another passenger. So we decided we would use them for my husbands homecoming from IRAQ. Now when trying to use the funds for my mother in-law to see her son return they will not let me. I called customer service and was told that as of 4/29/11 they changed the policy and you can no longer transfer to another person. And I bet they support the military right. How much money have they taken from our Military men and women and their families. I will blog all over telling everyone I know how Southwest DOES NOT support the Military. And that they "Change Policies" without communicating to the customers. This is crazy its OUR money let us transfer if we want. What harm is it doing???? Oh and I called the complaints department when the lady answered the phone I said "I'm sorry I didn't catch your name". She replied well that's because I didn't give you my name. So you can imagine how that call went.
