Pilot Convenience/Gasoline Complaint - Wong gasoline in your cehicle??

Review by IintheSky on 2005-05-28
NITRO (PUTRNAM COUNTY), WEST VIRGINIA -- One of the largest convenience and gasoline stores in the state of West Virginia made an announcement recently that people who filled their vehicles that were "expecting" to get unleader asoline might have inadvertantly filled up using deisel fuel. This was due to an error by one of the fuel deliverly trucks to the gasoline station. The delivery truck wrongly placed deisel fuel into a one marked to be unleaded.

Thousands of consumers may have been effected. Depending on the quantity of the fill up repairs might be as minor as a tune up and draining of the complete fuel system; or that the entire engine or vehicle may need replaced.

If indeed the engine needs to be overhualed- or the vehicle replaced be advised that this convenience and gasoline station is obligated to reinburse you for any and all losses incurred.

If the engine needs replaced- then their will be substantial vehicle value depreciation. If the vehicle needs to be replaced the convenience/gasoline store is obligated to replace yor vehicle with one of the same exact price and or specs of your current vehicle- YOUR CHOICE.

Also be aware that your losses might also include interest you are paying (or have paid/will pay in the future) for the vehicle. Rental coverage (if needed) will also be covered in full; and perhaps loss of time and inconvenience.

I'd like to know what becomes of this. Keep me posted. Hey txrode, if you're going to ride with these truckers then let them do their job!

Actually I'm sure quite a few pwople will attempt to say that their engine was damaged by the fule mix-up; even if they have never been to the place. Just one minor problem with that one though- they'll probably draw samples from the tank and/or lines- and by a type of chemical signature be able to tell exactly where they get the problem from.
